NHWC strives to match wrestler development with appropriate competition.  As a club our goal is to ignite a competitive flame in each of our athletes, striving for and celebrating in victory, while also balancing a healthy dose of hardship and the critical lessons learned in defeat.  To do so, our club provides ample training and competitive opportunities with links to register as outlined below.

 

• In-Season (K-8) Club Registration (Nov. - March)

• Off-Season (7th-12th) Club Registration (April - Oct.)

• Girls-Only Terry Steiner (US National Coach) Clinic @ NHHS (June 15, 2025, 10a-12p)

​

• Youth K-8 Summer Camp (June 23-26, 2025, 8:30a-12p)

​

• Mike Grey (Cornell Coach & Athletes) Wrestling Camp @ NHHS (July 28-31, 9a-2:30p)

TOURNAMENTS

NHWC also hosts multiple tournaments throughout the year that serve as both great opportunities for advanced competition, as well as critical fundraising sources for our organization and the charitable causes we support.  All club members are expected to participate (compete / volunteer).  Annual tournaments include:

• Scott VanDoren Memorial (funding annual scholarship for graduating NHHS wrestlers)

​

• NJ Kids State Qualifier

​

• USAWNJ Freestyle / Greco Qualifier

​

LEAGUES 

While HS athletes compete as dictated by the NHHS schedules, youth athletes (as assigned by the coaching staff) participate in the following leagues.

• Jersey Girls (K-8) Wrestling League
